The Oily Witch Terms & Conditions
Welcome, magical one. These Terms & Conditions form the sacred framework that supports all exchanges with The Oily Witch. They apply to every offering — including The Oily Witch Academy courses, bespoke remedies, spiritual counselling, hypnotherapy, astrology chart and tarot readings, skin balms, magical teas, events, Starseed Circle, and the So Above, So Below Calendar.
By booking, purchasing, or joining, you enter into an agreement of mutual respect, clarity, and energy exchange.
1. Payment: The Energy Exchange
- All offerings — whether sessions, events, courses, or products — must be paid for in full and in advance.
- Your booking or order is only confirmed once payment has been received.
- In the rare event that a late payment is agreed in writing, a 5% charge may be applied.
- Your commitment in energy (payment) opens the gateway to your journey.
2. Cancellations & Refunds: Flowing with Time
Circles & 1:1 Sessions (Counselling, Hypnotherapy, Readings, Healing)
- Cancellations with more than 48 hours’ notice may be rescheduled once at no extra cost.
- Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice are non-refundable.
- No-shows are considered as attended, and the fee is forfeited.
Events & Courses (Ceremonies, Retreats, Oily Witch Academy)
- Cancellations made more than 14 days before the start date will be refunded in full.
- Cancellations made within 14 days of the event or course start date are non-refundable.
- In rare and compassionate circumstances, at my discretion, you may transfer your place to another course or event.
- If The Oily Witch must cancel, you will be offered a full refund or transfer to another date.
Products (Skin Balms, Teas, Sprays, Calendar, Bespoke Remedies)
- Due to their handmade and magical nature, products are non-refundable unless faulty or damaged.
- If your product arrives damaged, please notify me within 7 days of delivery for a replacement or refund.
3. Confidentiality: The Sacred Container
All sessions, circles, and events are held within a container of trust. The stories, energy, and wisdom shared remain confidential and sacred. What is spoken in circle, stays in circle.
4. Responsibility & Outcomes
- My work — whether through hypnotherapy, counselling, astrology, or remedies — is offered with care, integrity, and spiritual devotion.
- Outcomes, however, cannot be guaranteed. Each client is responsible for their own choices, wellbeing, and healing journey.
- My offerings are complementary, not a replacement for medical treatment or advice. Always seek the guidance of a qualified health professional when required.
5. Delivery of Products & Services
- Physical products will be crafted and sent with care within the stated timeframes.
- Digital courses, readings, and services will be delivered via the agreed format (Zoom, email, in person, or otherwise).
- Should delays arise, you will be informed as soon as possible.
6. Claims & Disputes
- Concerns about a product must be raised within 7 days of receipt.
- Concerns about a service or event must be raised within 7 days of the date it took place.
- All disputes must be submitted in writing.
7. Governing Law
All exchanges with The Oily Witch are bound under the laws of the United Kingdom.
